If you\u2019re an interior design lover, you know one of the biggest events in the world of furniture is happening at the minute in Milan: Salone del Mobile 2017<\/strong><\/em>.\u00a0It is a\u00a0week packed with events and exhibitions where\u00a0anyone on the international\u00a0furniture design and manufacturing scene comes together to keep up with the latest trends\u00a0in the field.<\/p>\n

If you\u2019re attending this famous trade show in Milan, you\u2019re probably looking for the best places to eat or have a drink in this beautiful city. In a country that has one of the finest cuisines in the world, Milan offers amazing restaurants and bars<\/strong><\/a> not only when it comes to the food but also the stunning design.<\/p>\n

Bar Luce\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

This restaurant interior was designed by director Wes Anderson. With green as the base colour, it includes stunning patterned wallpaper prints, Formica chairs, terrazzo floors and pinball machines that create an atmosphere with a quirky, retro feel.<\/p>\n

T\u2019a<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

This is one of our absolute favorite\u00a0restaurant interiors in Milan. It was\u00a0designed by local architect Vincenzo de Cotiis who gave the space a\u00a01960s retro Italian flair mixed with the designer\u2019s signature edge. It has a mix of white and black marble on the floor, sophisticated upholstery and\u00a0modern suspension lights.<\/p>\n

Ceresio 7<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ceresio is located on the rooftop of fashion label Dsquared2\u2019s headquarters\u00a0and it has\u00a0a stunning\u00a0view over\u00a0Milan. The restaurant, designed by Dimore Studio,\u00a0has a polished, clean-lined design that almost feels like being transported to midcentury Palm Springs with an Italian twist.<\/p>\n

iL Bar at Bulgari Milan Hotel<\/strong><\/p>\n

There isn\u2019t a more picturesque cocktail hour in town than the one at il Bar\u2014the hidden garden lined with boxwood topiaries at the Bulgari Hotel.<\/p>\n

Giacomo Arengario<\/strong><\/p>\n

Envisioned by design firm Studio Peregalli, this Art Deco jewel box on the top floor of the Museo del Novecento overlooks the stunning\u00a0Piazza del Duomo. A gleaming cocktail bar is surrounded with 1930s decorative touches and walls covered with geometric patterns.<\/p>\n

Ugo<\/strong><\/p>\n

Named after a Northern Italian aperitif, Ugo serves craft cocktails in a dimly lit warren of rooms just off the Naviglio Grande.<\/p>\n

Mudec<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mudec\u00a0is Milan\u2019s first museum dedicated to culture. Though the museum and its wavy walled interiors are worth a quick visit, the space\u2019s main attraction is its top floor restaurant that brings a high-end eating establishment to Zona Tortona for the first time.<\/p>\n
