London Design Festival<\/em><\/strong> has arrived with full power, renowned interior designers<\/a><\/em><\/strong>, great installations, great projects, great collections, a place where you definitely want to be.\u00a0Until 25th of September you can see\u00a0over 400 events and installations that will be\u00a0the highlight of the city these days. Of these events, we can point out some projects that you can\u2019t miss.<\/p>\n

The Smile\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

It is described as a\u00a0complete sensory experience of colour, texture, scent and sound. This long wooden tunnel\u00a0has\u00a034 metre\u00a0and has the\u00a0shape of a smile. Each\u00a0end has\u00a0a viewing platform, allowing light to wash across floor like water across a spillway.<\/p>\n

Green Room at The V&A<\/strong><\/p>\n

With\u00a0a six storey stairwell, the Green Room is a curtain\u00a0of coloured strings that rotate to form a mesmerising wave of colour. Tim Simpson and Sarah Van Gameren, the authors, define it as a\u00a0clock that will\u00a0give everyone\u00a0an interactive experience.<\/p>\n

Forests<\/strong><\/p>\n

A creation of Asif Khan, a\u00a0series of small forests environments filled with plants can be found around Shoreditch, as part of a project run by Mini Living, offering who passes by\u00a0places to connect, create and relax.<\/p>\n

Beloved<\/strong><\/p>\n

It\u2019s a great\u00a0installation\u00a0that\u00a0takes the form of a 13-metre-long mirrored black box. Visitors can\u00a0look inside through cracks in the surface of the box where you will be able to\u00a0see atmospheric scenes from the novel Maddona in a Fur Coat using cinematic techniques, physical objects, text, light, and sound.<\/p>\n

Foil<\/strong><\/p>\n

An installation, by the design entrepreneur Benjamin Hubert\u00a0with collaboration of the\u00a0great German brand Braun, to create an immersive installation with fifty thousand mirrors, located in the V&A\u2019s Tapestry gallery.<\/p>\n

Liquid Marble<\/strong><\/p>\n

French designer Mathieu Lehanneur has created a movement work, a\u00a0huge\u00a0piece of black marble sculpted with the purpose of\u00a0representing the ocean\u2019s movement.<\/p>\n

L\u2019Eden<\/strong><\/p>\n

A project by Perrier-Jou\u00ebt is open for everyone as well as drinking\u00a0a glass of Perrier-Jou\u00ebt champagne in the lounge designed by Noe Duchaufour Lawrance. There are additionally many workshops, master classes and tours of the Bio-responsive Garden.<\/p>\n

Souvenirs<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The London Design Festival and the V&A in collaboration\u00a0with leading\u00a0London-based designers have\u00a0created a collection of great contemporary souvenirs celebrating the London Design Festival and the city of London.<\/p>\n
