The Parisian architect has made a name for himself by creating linear, monochromatic spaces for luxury brands, like Givenchy, Alexander Wang or Mayfair. He runs residential, commercial and hospitality interior projects with the mastery of few. All in all, Dirand is one of the most coveted architects in Paris.<\/p>\n

No matter what place on Earth, Dirand\u2019s style is instantly recognizable: a quintessentially French style of design incorporated into otherwise minimalist interiors. Above you can see an apartment in the 5th Avenue, in New York, with a neutral color scheme and a beautiful view. The home decor is simple\u00a0but luxurious.<\/p>\n

French fashion house Balmain has invited Dirand to create the interiors for the brand\u2019s Paris boutique. It\u2019s a modern interior design, with gold details.<\/p>\n

Located in Saint-Germain-des-Pr\u00e8s, in Paris, Dirand was responsible for the design of a 350m\u00b2 apartment. The apartment is on the first floor of an h\u00f4tel <\/em>particulier (a grand French townhouse) and the interiors, as well as the 250m\u00b2 terrace, serve as design inspiration for many of us!\u00a0The architect restored the apartment to its Belle Epoque glory with ornate mouldings, lots of marble \u2013 all in a fresh palette of black, white, grey and gold.<\/p>\n

Dirand uses minimalism like the canvas for a portrait of a few classical elements. And despite the neutral color schemes, the spaces he creates are always warm and cosy.<\/p>\n

Monsieur Bleu is a restaurant in the Palais de Tokyo, a modern art museum in Paris and is also one of the creations of Joseph Dirand. Being in the Palais de Tokyo, there was no way Monsieur Bleu could offer a simple decor. The restaurant interior offers a lively yet also very intimate ambiance. Chic but laid back, the ambiance is friendly and welcoming, with an open-minded spirit.<\/p>\n

The decor of the Monsieur Bleu is both cosmopolitan and international. Smooth lines and lustrous surfaces feature in this space. The colour palette is firmly rooted in black and white.<\/p>\n
