The former Le Meridien Hotel was renovated and transformed by the London-based B3 Designers into a luxurious new hotel with views over the St Stephens Basilica and the Danube river. Curious? Both the kitchen an lounge makes a striking impression. The Deak St. Kitchen, named after a famous fashion street in Budapest, is an open space lined with antique mirrored walls, contemporary lights, gorgeous leather upholstery, walnut tables and Hungarian timber floors. Carefully curated artwork, elegantly finishes off the space. Off the lobby, there’s the Kupola Lounge with classic stained glass domed ceiling with an exquisite chandelier sets the sophisticated mood.
B3 is an architectural interior design company specialized in the hospitality sector. Founded by Mark Bithrey in 2002, it always makes sure each interior space has a unique identity. Besides designing the space, B3 also created the logo and menu presentation for the restaurant.
With an Hungarian that emphasis on grilled meats and fish and located in the heart of the cultural and shopping district, it was the first Ritz Carlton to open in Budapest.
