Fairmont Amman

A beautiful strategic planning hospitality interior project for this hotel’s F&B offering provided six unique offers with different looks, all very welcoming and special. Blacksheep designed every space of this project having into consideration the brand and its concept.

Gillray’s

For this project, Blacksheep created a Hospitality Interior that aimed to be a quintessentially English drinking and dining experience in a Grade II listed Country Hall. Sitting within the existing Marriott guidelines, Gillray’s concept was driven by its brand personality of Eccentric English Charm.

Hyundai Cooking Library

A five-storey cooking library, this is the latest cultural project for the Hyundai Card company. The Hyundai Card Libraries are a series of four inspirational spaces designed to provide an ‘analogue’ antidote to the fast pace of city life in the digital age and to stimulate meaningful and inspiring experiences in everyday life. Blacksheep created the complete customer experience from the hospitality interior design through branding, staff uniforms and packaging. The Hyundai Cooking Library is a forum for an array of experiences and activities, from insightful cooking lessons led by industry professionals to the ‘Recipe Room’ where guests can collaborate on recipes.

Jamie’s Italian

Blacksheep has been working with Jamie’s Italian for several years and has collaborated with the much-loved household name on many individual sites. The warmth and welcoming feel of the restaurants is fashioned through the use of hand-made Terracotta tiles, character bridge oak wall panelling and terrazzo style floor tiles. These elements in this hospitality interior are offset against zinc bar panelling and copper washed wire wine display cabinets that wrap over the ceiling to create ‘frames’ that focus the flow of the space.

Lanes of London

Blacksheep were approached by Marriott Hotels to create a new brand concept and design for a destination restaurant and bar in London’s prestigious Park Lane. With the location and history of the building forming a key direction within the brief, the team took inspiration from Samuel Johnson, an English writer from the 1700s whose major work, a poem called ‘London’, is the very essence of this hospitality interior.

Mandarin Oriental

Housed in a 14th-century monastery in the cobbled streets of Mala Strana, the Mandarin Oriental Hotel offers a moment of peace and tranquillity. Born from the purity of the building’s monasterial roots, Blacksheep’s conceptual approach was based upon a celebration of sacred moments, allowing for a harmonious balance between Mandarin Oriental’s origins whilst respecting the locality of Prague. This hospitality interior combined two different contexts, making for a unique final result.

Mökki

For this hospitality interior, Blacksheep created a unique F&B experience that firmly resonates with the new audience of a young capital, set to spearhead creativity and progress in Kazakhstan. In this project, the studio wove together the old and new, with tradition and innovation in harmonious co-existence. With its base in three design pillars (honesty, simplicity and craftsmanship), Mökki has been designed to encourage exploration in various areas.

Puro

PURO aims to redefine affordable luxury. Blacksheep created this hospitality interior intending to achieve a youthful, fun and innovative final result. In a contemporary style, this hospitality interior is very design-focused and provided the studio with the opportunity to push boundaries and deliver a fresh and fun look. Modern design enthusiasts can appreciate the uniqueness of the concept as an eclectic mix of modern furniture, curated artwork and objects can be found throughout.

Quattro Passi al Pescatore

The intimate connection to nature is the essence of the site and played a central role in the redesign of this hospitality interior. Blacksheep sought to introduce a sense of contemporary luxury whilst also proving a timeless aesthetic, executed through a sensuous new colour palette, dynamic material exploration and a connection to nature. The design of this hospitality interior is a celebration of merging contemporary design cues with idiosyncratic elements and forms of the original building.

The Gorgeous Kitchen

This project is a collaboration between four female chefs, which meant that its interior should be a celebration of femininity that would provide a unique luxury experience. The keyword for the creation of this hospitality interior was “bespoke”, meaning that everything was created to be unique, complex and refined. This concept helped create a journey, embodying the restaurant’s modern essence of femininity. The copper wordmark sits across the three backdrops, a dark deep blue referencing sky and aviation, a gradient echoing movement, and lastly a marble effect touching upon the marriage between sea and sand. Always surrounded by space, the overall identity reflects the sanctuary in which the environment envelops the guest.
