Ashe Leandro is a design team dedicated to crafting spaces that innovate by above all, the virtue of experience, instinct, ingenuity and humor. They seek clear narratives that reference art, design and culture and mix natural materials with many different textures and patterns. Their interiors are contemporary, but also have a strong sense of honoring a space’s history.
The firm has become so relevant, that their interior design include clients like Seth Meyers, Naomi Watts, Liev Schreiber and Jake Gyllenhaal.
For Venezuelan born architect Reinaldo Leandro, the design process is – first and foremost – driven by instinct. “I don’t think we’re a team that gathers and thinks about the concept. We rely more on intuition,”. Recognized for a contemporary aesthetic that embraces warmth and a bit of playfulness, the 38 year old architect has already taken part is some wonderful projects as part of ASHE LEANDRO.
Ariel Ashe is the other half of this duo. The interior designer and architect had a very interesting career start: as an intern at Saturday Night Live. Perhaps not the expected path for a chic city designer who was named by Architectural Digest as a design talent to watch in its prestigious AD100 issue. However, Ashe did, after all, study scenery and lighting at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. Her work as part of ASHE LEANDRO speaks for itself.
