Westin Nanjing

Interior design firm Bilkey Llinas Design completed the interior design and fit-out of the Westin Nanjing, China. BLD worked with the operator Starwood. In the case of the lobby, keeping a light and airy ambiance was challenging because there were no windows at that end of the building. The lobby is on the 23rd floor and features two distinct areas, the reception and the all-day-dining restaurant Seasonal Tastes.

Pièce De Résistance, The Masterpiece

In this spacious 2,969 sqf. net flat at the Masterpiece, the most eye-catching facet of the apartment is its panoramic views of the city. Indeed, the long, curved windows in the living area boast an envious 180-degree view of Victoria Harbour across its entire length. It’s a space that has been enhanced further by fitting custom-designed storage counters along with the windows that are both fun and functional, serving a dual purpose of storage space and seating counter.

This is a service apartment in which our leader involved in design coordination and project management. It celebrated its natural surroundings with a beautiful park-like setting and was designed to create a refined lifestyle for its residents and guests. It respected traditional Chinese architecture by reinterpreting it with clean and simple lines that appeal to modern tastes and incorporates water elements and walking bridges to complete the effect. The overall design was serene, sophisticated, and distinctly Chinese. This design philosophy was carried throughout the interior concepts as well.

This tapas restaurant is inspired by the industrial style where chic refers to an aesthetic trend in interior design that takes clues from old factories and industrial spaces that in recent years have been converted to lofts and other living spaces.

Learning Habitat Families is an inspiring new center that cultivates a community of love and positivity around families and child-rearing. The space was designed and developed over 12,000 sq ft in Tai Kok Tsui, Kowloon. Within it, we incorporated a welcoming entrance with a reading area, the members club (a parent’s area with kitchen and lounge), the children’s playground with classrooms, restrooms, and offices.

The apartment in Edificio Nga Lim is a two-bedroom unit. Some interior walls are modified to make the unit more usable. Light colors and wood are used to create a comfortable feeling.

One Oasis

Located in the newest residential complex, this is a four-room-one-living apartment that we are playing with. With a six and a half meter-height-ceiling living room, this special unit apartment is inborn to be at the magnitude of luxurious homes. In order to excel in the nature of this interior, the design approach was to stay away from the extravagantly over ornate decorations but to focus on the application of details. The whole space falls into a tone-on-tone atmosphere with the use of different materials and textures to create an unruffled kind of sophistication.

As the first outlet in the city, the teahouse is located in Eslite Spectrum – a lifestyle complex in Tsim Sha Tsui. With a horizontal vision of the Victoria Harbour.
