Founded in 1870, the Sydney Rowing Club has a long and proud history in the sport. Overlooking a very picturesque strech of the Parramatta River, the club has become one of Sydney’s top spots to enjoy a couple of cold drinks whilst enjoying the water views. This has led the club to delevop beyond its sporting roots, becoming a space of reference, either for a wedding and other special occasions or just for a pleasant lunch with a view. The project we bring you today, by KW interiors, had the challenge of enhancing the club’s space through a soft-reburbishment with a modern interior design look whilst being in harmomy with the natural river surroundings as well as the club’s rowing community history.

Labelled one of Sydney’s best destinations to catch up with friends, family and colleagues, the space is now full of modern chairs that give that sophisticated and welcoming atmosphere people look for. The colors, the furniture design and finishes applied were all put in place havin in mind water inspirations, but providing the club with an appealing modern interior design look that would accentuate the beauty of the space even at night time, when the water views can’t be enjoyed in its full splendor.

The result is a space that provides a wonderful setting to enjoy the views during the day, and a strong modern interior look, with classy details, exquisite chair design and sophistication, where you can relax and enjoy a tasty meal during the evening

The lounge provides a mix of classic high bench tables and cocktail tables with an assortment of luxurious Dalyan upholstered chairs by BRABBU that will provide you full comfort to enjoy the views.

The modern sofas and modern chairs are not overwhelming, instead giving the lounge that extra touch of class.
