Stefano Pilati, head fashion designer of Italian menswear brand Ermenegildo Zegna, has placed his Paris apartment on the market. The beautiful duplex has 3 bedrooms, 3 baths and is worth $5.9 million, not to mention that it is amazingly designed.
The garden-level apartment is located in the elegant 8th arrondissement along the upscale rue Faubourg Saint-Honoré, close to Élysée Palace and the art galleries of Avenue Matignon and was renovated with the help of architect Bruno Caron. Pilati and Caron preserved many of the residence’s historic details, such as chevron parquet floors, while adding a gym, a laundry area and other modern amenities.
For those in search of home design inspiration and ideas, here’s a great starting place. Be delighted by Stefano Pilati’s Paris apartment and see for yourself the magnitude of the interiors.
Narrow as it is, the kitchen floor is paved with leather tiles.
The sophisticated master bedroom with a large carpet becomes a cosy, relaxing place.
Distinguished by an openwork shelving system between the master bedroom and the smoking room, this offers the overall home design a beautiful approach.
A sitting area in the master bedroom features a granite mantel and some art on the walls. Beautiful velvet single sofas make this an even cosier space.
Beneath the master bedroom, Caron installed an opulent bath and a dressing room, both accessible by a winding staircase.
Two different mirrors give a golden approach to the home design. Honey-color stone lines the master bath.
The living room of Stefano Pilati’s Paris apartment boasts soaring ceilings, detailed moldings and an elegant fireplace in marble.
The living room opens onto a stunning landscaped garden.
Artfully echoing the garden beyond, Mathias Kiss and Olivier Piel of Atelier Attilalou painted the dining room’s mural, which features a woodland mural inspired by a scene in the 2004 movie Vanity Fair.
The television room offers views of the garden, which was landscaped by famed designer Louis Benech, at the same time that chevron parquet floors enhance the space.
