Stefano Pilati, head fashion designer of Italian menswear brand Ermenegildo Zegna, has placed his Paris apartment on the market. The beautiful duplex has 3 bedrooms, 3 baths and is worth $5.9 million, not to mention that it is amazingly designed.

The garden-level apartment is located in the elegant 8th arrondissement along the upscale rue Faubourg Saint-Honoré, close to Élysée Palace and the art galleries of Avenue Matignon and was renovated with the help of architect Bruno Caron. Pilati and Caron preserved many of the residence’s historic details, such as chevron parquet floors, while adding a gym, a laundry area and other modern amenities.

Artfully echoing the garden beyond, Mathias Kiss and Olivier Piel of Atelier Attilalou painted the dining room’s mural, which features a woodland mural inspired by a scene in the 2004 movie Vanity Fair.
The television room offers views of the garden, which was landscaped by famed designer Louis Benech, at the same time that chevron parquet floors enhance the space.
