Finding harmony in each space and understanding the individuality and necessity of each client, it’s what since the beginning rules BRABBU design and philosophy. For each story that BRABBU tells through its pieces, stories of nature and world cultures, we add the stories of our clients.

This time is in Barcelona that the nature’s stories of our pieces express itself, merging in a romantic ambience that challenges its own concept, imposing itself as an “Art Apartment”.

This apartment was renewed by the interior design studio Recdi8. Their team studied the building’s history and the apartment itself in Barcelona’s Example district so as to be able to recover the original elements that have been disappearing during the last decades.

All the pieces in this project chosen considering the theme: nature inspirations in the romanticism and rococo styles. Its this classic scenario with small mid-century design feels that BRABBU’s pieces were included.

The 4 MAYA Accent Chairs upholstered in velvet are part of the decoration of the living room of this apartment, being the main responsibles for contrasting with the colors of the ambience, bringing harmony to all the decor.

It was a privilege for BRABBU being part of this project, which has so much in common with our identity. In fact we couldn’t be prouder, but that was before we knew that this project by the Spanish Interior design studio Recdi8 and that included our elegant cotton velvet armchairs was chosen to be featured in the most important magazine in Russia regarding Architecture and Interior Design – Architectural Digest Russia.

The feature included a double page spread on the project where BRABBU was mentioned as one of the brands chosen for this apartment in Barcelona. Nevertheless that’s not all, the editorial team of Architectural Digest Russia picked the image with BRABBU’s armchair to be the cover of the August issue of the magazine. That really is such an achievement! We congratulate Recdi8 Studio and thank AD Russia team for something huge like this.
